The Everglades National Park is a true American treasure and a one of a kind natural wonder. The "River of Grass" is unlike any other wetland in the world. We spend a good portion of our free time exploring the everglades. Each time we visit, we are amazed by it's beauty and vastness. On each return visit, we see things we somehow missed the time before. I suppose we could visit everyday and never see it all. While you are visiting the Florida everglades, catch a ride on one of the many everglades airboats,or hike one of the many trails that are scattered through the Everglades.

Mosquitoes and biting bugs are a year around concern in the Everglades. The summer months are the most severe due to the heat and humidity. You can get ready and still enjoy. Be prepared with proper clothing and insect repellent! |
