Rum Punch is a traditional rum drink, and is perfect for groups of people and that extra special get-together!
It's excellent on hot days and BBQs! Best consumed in the shade, when work is the last thing on your mind.
As with all great recipes, whether food or drink, changes are made to satisfy personal tastes. Adjust the amount of the ingredients to make it yours!
The following rum recipe is a tried and true favorite among rum drinkers! The Rum Punch goes back, way back! Dating back to the mid 1600's this punch has been creating island hoppers for many years!

Rum Punch
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grenadine syrup
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 cups favorite Jamaican rum
- 1/2 cup 151 rum
- 2 cups fresh pineapple juice
- 2 cups fresh orange juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- Freshly grated nutmeg to taste, optional
- 3-4 dashes bitters to taste, optional
- Orange and pineapple slices for garnish
To Mix:
- Combine fruit juices, syrups and rums together in a pitcher or punch bowl.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Sprinkle nutmeg (just a pinch) and hit with bitters.
- Garnish with orange and/or pineapple slices.
- Serve over ice, enjoy!
