Rum Runner Recipe

"If you are looking for a great rum runner recipe, then you'll enjoy this one!"

The original rum runner was invented at the Holiday Isle "Tiki Bar" in Islamorada, Florida back in the 1950's.

Since it's origin, there have been many changes to the original recipe.

Although I wasn't present at the "Tiki Bar" on that historical day, I have performed a bit of research and I believe the "Rum Runner" recipe below to be very close to the original.

Even more importantly, it tastes great and our "peeps" love it.

As outstanding drink recipes make their way from one bar stool to the next, original concepts and truisms are fogged by 80 proof memories.

Just remember, it's all about flavor. Adjust this recipe to suit your individual taste!
